Section 122 Tariff — No Longer in Effect

Policy update — August 2026

The Section 122 blanket 10% tariff on US imports has been replaced. Imports are no longer subject to the across-the-board 10% surcharge or its HTS-based exemption system. Current US import costs are instead driven by standard MFN duty rates plus targeted measures — Section 301 tariffs (including the new forced-labor tariffs) and Section 232 duties on steel, aluminum, and copper. Use our calculator to see exactly which of today’s tariffs apply to your product.
